I’ve been really impressed with the Spoonie Mud-Sucker Neoprene Waders. The quality feels great, and they’re plenty warm for those cold mornings in the blind. I really like the big chest pocket—it has plenty of room for everything I want to keep handy. The wide shoulder straps are also a nice touch and stay comfortable throughout the day. Overall, they’re a comfortable, well-made pair of waders that I’ve really enjoyed wearing.
The Spoonie Shoveler Insulated Jacket has quickly become my go-to when the weather gets nasty. It keeps the wind and water out and has plenty of warmth for those cold late-season mornings. It feels tough and durable enough to handle the kind of conditions you run into waterfowl hunting, whether that’s rain, mud, brush, or just an all-around miserable day. I also really like the Velcro cuff straps—you can cinch them down around your gloves to help keep water from running up your sleeves. When the forecast looks rough, this is the jacket I’m reaching for.
..but still feel tough enough for the kind of abuse you put waders through during a full season. They feel like they were built with actua lwaterfowl hunters in mind.
