DC Mondo:
The DC “Mondo” was developed after a style of calling that built its reputation on putting “Mondo” wads of ducks in the woods. This call is reminiscent of the Cut Down Key Hole calls made famous by guides hunting high pressured, public ground ducks in the hardwood bottoms of Arkansas and Louisiana. The Mondo has a very short insert that creates very little back pressure which allows the call to produce that hard, loud, raspy lick of a mallard hen, as well as that trademark loud squeaky chatter desired by the guides on these public areas. The “DC Mondo” has the range to break ‘em out high, set ‘em up down wind and talk ‘em into giving up… All you have to do is drive it!
Rockin’ R:
The Rockin' R, while very similar to the Mondo series of calls, is uniquely based on the way Jimbo likes to set up one of his old black calls. With a tapered mouthpiece that takes away backpressure but allows the caller more versatility of air delivery depending on what sounds they are trying to achieve. Along with that, he opened up and tapered the bore on the insert adding a touch more volume on top but also to be very loose on the bottom. Like the Mondo series, Jimbo went back to an original keyhole and worked forward to develop a smoother top end with lots of punch but also retain that signature rattle. He was looking for a separate shape that honored the classic look of a reversed Olt and his RNT Roots but also stood on its own. So with the help of John Stephens making sense of his crude drawing, what you see as the Rockin' R came to life. The Rockin' R Logo evolved to what you see on the call with the help of Blake Fisher's creative talent using Jim's initials, JR. We are very proud to introduce the Rockin’ R regular duck call as part of the many great calls in the RNT line-up.
Timber NV:
The Timber NV is a throwback call with a modern twist. Twenty years ago, the timber style calls were one of the most popular style calls due to its trademark hold, bounce, whine, and ease of operation. This style call was limited in range due to its small ¼” bore and low volume. We have taken this style of call and made modern updates to its tone board and bore. The result is a more aggressive, ultra-user-friendly, “Natural-Volume” call. And it's just plain fun to run. Brand new tone board, brand new bore, and brand new sound. Whether your situation calls for bossing, pleading, sweet talking, or just plain shaking your little hips, we are confident this call will continue to find a place on your lanyard.
