The only reason I’m giving this jacket a 4 instead of a 5 is because it runs small. I’m 5’9” 180, and it’s snug…. Real snug. Like around the waste . With a large. Other than that it’s warm, blocks wind pretty good . Love the magnetic phone pocket. And it’s very quiet . Hope to get many years out of it. Personally I’d never get an xl jacket typically … but if you see this review and you’d normally get a large … go ahead and get an xl. This jacket is heavier than it looks , so don’t think it’s not warm .. hoping to snatch up a pair of pants while they are on clearance . I’ve never really owned any drake stuff . A few old tom items , and such but never any drake deer hunting stuff. I’m pretty impressed , especially for the clearance price . I would recommend it.

Jacket is warm with a midlayer insulation underneath . Hood could be better as it is big and floppy .I wear a ball cap to keep it from falling over my face.

I am 5’11” and 170lbs and i ordered a medium, it fits well. It has plenty of length in the arms and the material has some stretch to it so it moves well with your body. This stuff is going to be perfect for cool to cold mornings. There is really only enough room for one underlayer but that will probably be plenty due to how warm this jacket and pants will be by themselves. I am extremely happy with my purchase. This jacket and pants combo will be perfect for bowhunters looking for warmth without bulk.
