    Good Warm Wool Jacket

    I got this jacket to match the wool pants of the same material. This is a warm, windproof jacket so know that you will sweat in this jacket if you have hills to climb. The phone pocket is large & holds my iPhone 13. The. XL was true to size and its roomy enough for a good base & midlayer underneath the jacket. It’s stretchy so movement in it was good. It is a little thick for a heavy backpack but a daypack is comfortable. Venting would be a great addition to this jacket as the windproof material does not breath. I’d also love to see a matching vest to this jacket as I’d use the vest to hike in and then use the jacket once I stopped hiking. Overall I’m really pleased with this jacket, especially knowing it’s made of wool as this material works when others fail, esp in wet weather. It is DWR treated so it sheds dew and mist but bring a rain suit if you expect a deluge.

    Fits well love how warm it is. Will be my go to in Septembers elk hunt in Idaho. 2xl fit better with additional cloths layers.
