Email: rontread@ bellsouth.net It was ten years ago on a cloudy cool morning when a couple hunting buddies took me duck hunting for the first time. I was an avid hunter of other game but had not experienced the whistling of wings as of yet. It was just after day break and the sky was completely covered in ducks. My heart was racing and the calling was furious. After we watched the dog retrieve our limit of ducks it was time to pick up and head home. On the way back I realized that this was a game I wanted to play and get my children involved in. I life in a small town in North Carolina and my wife Lisa is a school teacher. I have two wonderful kids Austin and Mallary (notice the "a" in Mallary after the lovely Mallard) who are both nine years old. When we are not playing baseball, football, or cheerleading we are playing with our labs and getting ready for duck and goose season. Waterfowl hunting is an annual activity for our family and we are able to meet wonderful new people within the industry organizations. With the help of Drake waterfowl and its team of people it is an honor to keep the tradition of waterfowl hunting alive. |
