Email:bigrcalls@bellsouth.net My name is Randy LaNeve, I was born and raised in Providence, a small town in Western KY were I continue to live with my wife Shelley, our 7 year old son Travis and 2 year old daughter Josie Beth. I was fortunate enough to grow up with a father that started packing me with him hunting and fishing when I was barely big enough to walk. When I was 9 I finally got to carry a gun squirrel hunting and bagged my first squirrel. My dad wasn't a waterfowl hunter, he was a bird hunter so most of my teen years were spent chasing quail and training bird dogs with my dad. In 1992 a friend from work asked me to go Duck hunting with him and I was hooked. Being a Tool And Die Maker by trade I had the desire to make my own calls so in 1995 I bought a small lathe and milling machine and started Big R Custom Calls and began making custom Duck,Goose and Turkey calls. In 2002, after several years of coaxing by friends I finally got the nerve to call in my first Goose calling contest and I was again hooked. Since then I have been lucky enough to win a few contest but most of all it has enabled me to meet some of the finest people in the world and make some really good friends.
