Mitch Hughes

After only three years of competitive calling, up and coming duck caller Mitch Hughes has already earned his way to the Senior World Duck Calling Championship two times at the age of 18. Mitch has also won several other goose and duck calling contests with purses of $1000, including the Rhode Island State Duck Calling Contest, and the Delmarva Invitational Goose Calling Contest.

In 2006 Mitch won the World Goose Calling Championship and his second consecutive World Live Duck Calling Championship! Also, in 2005 Mitch won the World Live Duck Calling Championship. He was also runner up in the first ever World Live Duck Calling Championship in 2004 in Easton, MD.

Mitch owns his own commercial work boat which he crabs off of during the spring and summer seasons. In the fall and winter, Mitch works as a professional guide for a prestigious guide service in Talbot County, Maryland, and is now owner of Canadian Prairie Outfitters service in Canada.
