My name is Lauren Thomas and I'm 22 years old. I was born and raised in Carlyle, Illinois. I currently live in Carbondale, IL were I work at The Great Outdoors Company while finishing school. I have a 2-year-old male Lab named Crash; the best duck dog I've ever had. I started hunting…well…before I was born. My mom was seven months pregnant with me and still hunting; I guess I've been at it ever since. My first trip out on Carlyle Lake in the duck boat took place when I was two. They let me start carrying a gun with me when I was eight, and I killed my first duck shortly after. I've expanded my hunting repertoire to include geese, turkey, pheasant, quail, and deer; though my loyalty lies with those that quack. On occasion I will throw in a fishing expedition to keep things interesting. On top of all this I enjoy training my dog, shooting trap, and spending as much time possible with my family and friends. I really enjoy the line of quality Drake products that have made my hunting much more comfortable and convenient. They have successfully designed hunting clothes that fit women, not just men.
