Hometown: Selma, Alabama What age did you start hunting? I got my first Red Rider BB gun around age 7 or 8 and starting helping dad in the dove field with it at that time. I Killed my first deer at age 10 with a single shot 20 gauge and killed my first dove with the same shotgun, soon thereafter. I was not exposed to waterfowl until 7 years ago, but since then it has become my obsession. I have spent the last 7 years doing everything I can in pursuit of waterfowl. In 7 years I have developed property to flood about 55 acres. I have killed ducks in South America three times (Argentina twice and Uraguay once) and Canada twice (Alberta and Saskatchewan). One of the best weekends of the year for me is the youth duck hunt weekend. There is not any better feeling than introducing young children to the sport, about which I am so passionate.
