I attended and also played golf for Gustavus Adolphus College. After college I chose to become a golf professional which let me enjoy my two passions the most; playing golf and waterfowl hunting. Being a Golf Professional affords me the opportunity to spend an ample amount of time a field during the fall hunting waterfowl. I am fortunate to live 15 miles away from one of Minnesota's most historic waterfowl lakes, Swan Lake. Swan Lake is the nation's largest prairie pothole marsh. Being a part owner of a 53 year old cabin site on the lake has allowed me the opportunity to appreciate the history of the lake. This is where I got my start into the sport of waterfowling. I now hunt this lake about 30 days out of our usual 60 day season. Field hunting is where I spend the other days. Although I started on the water, in the field is where I prefer to be. Fooling Giant Western Canada geese and the other subspecies is how I spend most of our season from September through the middle of December. Pheasant hunting is saved for warm days in October and November and late December after our late goose season has closed. Pheasant hunting is special to me because it is when I get to spend time in the field with my father, friends, and our dogs. I truly believed in Drake Waterfowl's products long before I joined their team. Being an active hunter, I found the Eqwader to best suite my needs. Since than, I have found Drake's apparel to suite all of my needs in the field throughout the hunting seasons.
