Age: 21 Hometown: Denison, IA What age did you start hunting: I started hunting with my father when I was around eight years old. My favorite early memory is my first duck hunt, I actually happened to double on two drake mallards on my first hunt. How many days a year do you hunt: Hunting waterfowl, I probably put in around ninety to hundred days in a year. It is a passion that I think of all year so when the time comes I go as much as possible. I also love to deer hunt in both South Dakota as well as Iowa. And when spring comes you will always find me out chasing a big turkey around. Favorite Hunting Area: Areas near Brookings, SD for upland and waterfowl. Favorite Style of Waterfowl Hunting: That's got to be field hunting for ducks and geese. The action is always good if you scout it out and in most cases you can bring the birds right into your blinds. Gun of Choice: Benelli M1, it was given to my by my father so it means a lot and I love the Benelli style of shotguns. Favorite Drake Product: Hands down it has to be my Eqwader Two-Tone Pullover for its durability, comfort, and concealment in the field. Favorite Duck/Goose call: H.S. Diamond Wood Double Reed Mallard Call Proudest Achievement: I get a lot out of dog training. Seeing a dog respond and change over time is amazing and makes you really appreciate just how special a good hunting dog is.
