My name is J. Burton Angelle, III and I am 29 years old. I currently live in Lafayette, Louisiana, with my wife Anne and our two dogs. I've been hunting as long as I can remember. I grew up hunting the rice fields of Gueydan and the marshes of Pecan Island. I can also remember being dragged/carried deep into the woods of Atchafalaya Basin by my dad and grandpa.
These days, in my free time, I enjoy working with my retrievers, playing golf, fishing and volunteering with Ducks Unlimited.
I enjoy dry field hunting for geese as well as ducks in the flooded rice fields, but my favorite, hands down, is marsh hunting in and around Pecan Island, Louisiana. Drake makes dependable gear that my hunting partners and I use every day to help reduce risk and return great rewards on our trips into the marsh. The products and clothing are built for function and dependability and in the marshes of South Louisiana that is what counts.
