My passion for the outdoors is waterfowl hunting, I have been hunting ducks and geese for twenty-three years. My first years of water fowling were for ducks, but for the past ten years goose hunting has been my main passion. I hunt on average 40 days a year for waterfowl. Our season opens September 1 and is over by mid to late November. When I am not hunting, I am scouting for birds. When cold weather sets in and birds disappear, preparations and excitement for the next season are already in my thoughts. I am currently skeet director and a former past president of our local Gun Club, I am also actively involved with a DU dinner chapter for 10 years. I believe conservation and devoting one's time is important in keeping the sport alive. |
