CONSERVATION At Drake Waterfowl we support a number of organizations that help the resource (wetlands and waterfowl). We support and contribute to the organizations listed below. We also offer Banquet Packages to these fine organizations so the chapters can purchase items for their fundraising efforts at a discounted rate. Delta WaterfowlMission: Delta will provide knowledge, future leaders, solutions and its passion for waterfowl to scientists, resource managers, waterfowlers, conservationists and the public to enhance waterfowl populations while securing the future of waterfowling. Delta Supports Hunting: "Promoting hunting is not a choice, but an obligation for Delta Waterfowl. Just as hunters feel they need to give back to nature for what they have taken, Delta should give back to hunters for the support it has received over the past 60 years"  Ducks UnlimitedMission: Ducks Unlimited conserves, restores, and manages wetlands and associated habitats for North America's waterfowl. These habitats also benefit other wildlife and people. DU Supports Hunting: America's hunters have always been the first to step forward and put their money and efforts into conservation. Through the wise and prudent use of these contributions, DU has been able to conserve over 10 million acres of wetlands and related habitats in North America. DU also has active conservation programs in progress in all the states of the U.S. and Mexico and the Canadian provinces with targeted projects in Latin America and the Caribbean. While our programs and projects are designed to benefit waterfowl, they also provide essential habitat for 900 other species of wildlife. DU will continue to support hunting as an important recreational activity, a tool of wildlife management, and a wholesome family activity and we encourage all who enjoy the outdoors to adhere to the highest standards of ethical conduct.  Theodore Roosevelt Conservation PartnershipMission: The Theodore Roosevelt Conservation Partnership is a service organization, providing state-of-the-art advocacy and organizational assistance to the conservation community in conducting campaigns to protect the ancient traditions of hunting and angling. Working together, the TRCP partner organizations seek to ensure that America's lands, both public and private, will always provide clean water, healthy habitat, bountiful fish and wildlife populations, and ample opportunities to enjoy the outdoors. In short, we work to "Guarantee You a Place to Hunt and Fish." |
